CW617N is a standard European alloy (CuZn40Pb2) designed for hot forging. It provides a balanced combination of ductility, tensile strength, and machinability. Its composition is tightly regulated to ensure reliable pressure rating limits, making it ideal for meeting Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) regulations.
We test every production batch. This includes geometry checks using CNC measuring equipment, followed by air and water pressure tests at 1.5 times the nominal rating (PN16/PN25) to verify seat seal and body integrity.
