Understanding the internal physics, cracking pressures, and mechanical properties that determine fluid isolation reliability.
A poppet check valve is a critical unidirectional fluid control component configured with a sliding piston or disc (the poppet) as the closing element. Positioned inside the flow channel, the poppet responds directly to differential pressures. Under forward flow conditions, fluid pressure overrides the internal spring's force, pushing the poppet off its seat and enabling unrestricted forward passage. When flow decelerates or reverses, the spring tension combined with the backpressure forces the poppet back onto the seat, instantly halting backflow.
This design offers several technical advantages over traditional swing or ball check valves. The linear travel path of the guided poppet guarantees precise alignment with the seat, minimizing uneven wear and extending operational lifespans. Additionally, the fast response time driven by the spring ensures rapid closure, preventing water hammer and pressure spikes in highly dynamic piping layouts.
Yongda's engineering team designs these valves using advanced flow simulation software. By optimizing the hydraulic profile of the poppet and the flow chamber, we reduce turbulence and pressure drop, maximizing system coefficient values (Cv) while maintaining tight sealing capabilities even at near-zero backpressures.
Each spring assembly is tensioned to open at specific cracking pressures (standard 0.02 to 0.05 bar). Custom configurations allow adjustment for low-pressure HVAC applications or high-pressure industrial systems.
Using premium EPDM, NBR, or Viton (FKM) seat inserts, our check valves achieve absolute bubble-tight shutoff (zero leakage conforming to EN 12266-1 Rate A standards), safeguarding water purity and system integrity.
Forged using premium European CW617N brass or lead-free DZR (Dezincification Resistant) brass alloys, ensuring structural endurance when exposed to oxygenated hot water and aggressive fluid media.
Integrating digital manufacturing with materials science to shape the next generation of flow control components.
The valve manufacturing sector is moving beyond basic structural engineering into smart monitoring and green-material compliance. Yongda's tech roadmap focuses on three pillars:
By investing in these technical areas, we ensure our international OEM/ODM clients receive valves that meet future environmental mandates and outperform standard designs.
A foundation of manufacturing capacity, technical expertise, and global market trust built over decades.
Providing robust flow control and reverse flow protection for critical piping networks around the world.
Integrated into manifolds and mixing systems to prevent reverse thermal flow in heating circuits, ensuring precise temperature regulation and energy balance in underfloor heating zones.
Installed directly downstream of water pumps to prevent column separation and backflow that can rotate pumps backward, damaging internal impellers and motor couplings.
Maintains process line pressure levels in manufacturing plants, preventing backflow contamination between chemical water lines and municipal drinking water systems.
Operating out of Yuhuan, the plumbing and valve capital of China, we provide high manufacturing capacity and strict quality control.
Based in Yuhuan, Zhejiang, Yuhuan Yongda Fluid Control Co., Ltd. benefits from a localized supplier ecosystem. This concentration of raw material processors, tooling shops, and surface finishing facilities allows us to quickly scale production and maintain control over input costs.
Our production floor spans an actual usable area of 80,000 square meters. The plant is equipped with over 600 sets of advanced manufacturing and testing equipment, including 80+ specialized machine tools. This layout supports full integration from hot brass forging to multi-axis CNC machining, custom finishing, automatic assembly, and 100% pneumatic pressure testing.
This vertical integration ensures consistency across large orders. By handling raw materials and final packaging in-house, we eliminate intermediate logistics delays. This guarantees reliable lead times, stable metal alloy chemistry, and complete batch traceability for all components.
Engineering certified components that meet local standards in North America, Europe, and global industrial markets.
Our brand Cokaren represents our commitment to reliable heating and domestic water systems. To support this promise, our factory operates under a strict, integrated management framework:
Our testing labs feature direct-reading spectrometers to verify brass alloy compositions, pressure cycle test stands, and low-temperature sealing chambers. This setup confirms performance across varying operating environments.
