Engineered to exact standards, our industrial-grade connectors, valves, and control systems provide the backbone for fluid distribution efficiency.
Gas pressure regulators are precision instruments designed to decrease high, fluctuating inlet pressures down to a stable, safe, and functional outlet pressure. In the modern industrial and commercial landscape, maintaining pressure stability is paramount for process repeatability, safety compliance, and energy conservation.
Whether handling natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), or specialized industrial gases (nitrogen, oxygen, argon), the regulator functions as the absolute line of defense. The mechanics behind gas regulation—leveraging spring-loaded diaphragms, pilot-controlled pistons, or sophisticated self-acting systems—determine how efficiently an energy grid or combustion system operates.
Globally, strict codes such as ASME, EN 334, and UL standards dictate the parameters under which these systems operate. Poor pressure regulation introduces severe economic and safety hazards: gas leaks, pilot flame blowout, overpressurization, and structural degradation of HVAC equipment. For industrial plants, gas fluctuations directly correlate to reduced heat transfer efficiency and thermal fatigue.
Founded in 1996 in Yuhuan, Zhejiang—widely recognized as the "China valve capital"—Yuhuan Yongda Fluid Control Co., Ltd. (formerly Yuhuan Yongda Plumbing Co., Ltd.) has grown into an industry-leading OEM and ODM partner for global brass valve, fitting, and HVAC component solutions.
Our commitment is represented in our premium brand Cokaren, centered on the core corporate promise: "keep flowing, keep warming". By focusing on refined aesthetics, precise structural design, and extended product lifecycles, Cokaren provides advanced solutions for high-performance domestic water systems, radiant underfloor heating networks, and HVAC boiler systems.
We target mid-to-high-grade international markets, engineering products with sustainable, lead-free, and dezincification-resistant (DZR) materials. This strategic positioning has gained long-term trust from Tier-1 distributors and procurement managers across North America, Europe, and Asia.
Combining structural automation, regional cluster synergies, and deep material science integration to deliver high-precision products at global scale.
Our workshop features over 80 sets of specialized machine tools and multi-axis CNC machines to achieve tolerances within +/- 0.01mm.
Following our corporate quality policy—"Fine work, no leakage"—every regulator undergoes 100% helium pressure testing before dispatch.
Based in Yuhuan, we tap into a mature ecosystem of raw copper extrusion, precision hot forging, and surface plating industries.
From centralized heating networks in municipal projects to high-end residential distribution systems.
Within boiler units, gas pressure regulators must handle rapid thermal shifts and varying input pressures. Fluctuations in pressure degrade the efficiency of boiler burners, leading to elevated carbon emission profiles. Our systems ensure standard gas flow to maintain optimal fuel-to-air ratios.
Modern hydronic underfloor heating requires precise, localized flow balancing and pressure bypass settings. Operating within multi-family residential projects requires continuous pressure correction to eliminate noise, hydraulic shocks, and localized cold spots.
For glass, steel, or chemicals processing, custom-tailored brass pressure regulators provide critical safety functions. High chemical compatibility with corrosive gas blends prevents diaphragm degradation and ensures continuous operation.

Technical answers to key industry questions on pressure regulation, material choices, and system design.
Direct-acting pressure regulators use the downstream force acting directly on the internal diaphragm to counteract the force of the main adjusting spring. These regulators feature fast response speeds and are suitable for systems with low-to-medium flow ranges. Pilot-operated regulators, on the other hand, leverage an auxiliary pilot regulator that amplifies pressure signals to control the opening of the main valve. This system enables precise pressure control under wide flow rate fluctuations and higher inlet pressures.
Dezincification is a selective corrosion process where zinc is leached out of copper-zinc alloys (brass), leaving a porous, structurally weak copper matrix. This issue is common in aggressive water environments containing high levels of oxygen or carbon dioxide. Utilizing DZR brass ensures the integrity of valves and pressure regulator bodies, preventing leaks, internal blockages, and premature failure of piping networks.
Air bubbles trapped inside hydronic piping grids lead to air locks, which restrict fluid circulation. Air pocket accumulation reduces heat transfer rates at the heat exchanger surfaces. An automatic air vent valve continuously vents trapped air pockets while retaining the fluid inside the system. This optimization prevents radiator cold spots, protects pump impellers from cavitation, and minimizes overall fuel consumption in central boilers.
Our quality control program requires multiple validation steps: 100% pneumatic testing for seal tight alignment, structural wall thickness validation with ultrasonic gauges, and helium mass spectrometer leak tests. We perform cycle tests (running valves through thousands of open-close actions under maximum pressure differentials) to verify mechanical durability over decades of usage.
Standard plumbing brass valves cannot be used for LPG applications without configuration updates. Liquefied petroleum gas requires specialized elastomer gaskets (such as NBR or FKM) that resist chemical solvent attack from LPG compounds. Additionally, gas rated valves must operate at higher pressure tolerances and comply with specific gas emission certifications.
For custom engineering projects, the development process takes approximately 4-6 weeks for mold prototyping and flow validation, followed by 30 days for bulk production runs. We provide complete 3D CAD modeling and digital simulation analysis to streamline product development.
